French + Dutch = Frutch (Part Trois Et Quatre)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalamualaikum, peeps!!

I think I just wanna cut to the chase and post part 'TROIS' and 'QUATRE' of the FRUTCH trip which happens to be.......PARIS!!

From Rotterdam, my parents and I went to Paris by train.  We rode Thalys towards Paris and it was a 2 hour ride I think.  It was great and quite comfortable.  So we arrived at 'Gare du Nord' (North Railway Station)

From there we went to the EST Hotel on Boulevard de Magenta.  It wasn't that far so we just walked.  After we checked in and solat, we went on 'L' Open Bus Tour'.  It's this bus that has the top open so the tourist can see the sights.  They give you earphones to plug in on an input that has a French music playlist and also a video recorded voice of a tour guide who tells you the story behind every landmark that we pass going on the bus.  Check these out ;-)

Basically, we just rode the bus.  We only wanted to get the idea of where to go and get familiar to the area.  So we went back to our hotel and had dinner with the food we bought.  Since, there were some halal Arab restaurants, we just ran with it.

The next day, day 'QUATRE'.  This was the day where I got to go to some of the places.  But since it was raining that day, we only went to the Eiffel Tower and Le Grand Mosque de Paris.....

That night was our trip back to London by train.  Eurostar.

All in all, the trip was awesome.  Especially when we were in Rotterdam.  But as for France *Sigh*  Let's just say.....Don't believe everything you hear.

Anyway, I'll be going back to Tanah Tumpahnya Darahku in exactly 2 weeks.  It'll be good to be back home.  But till then, I'll keep on blogging here in the UK.
