Wait..That looks a bit upside down.

See you guys on the flip side!!

P.S: I'm currently working on Chapter 2 of my 'UK Tales'.  To those who are also bookworms like me, you can read Chapter 1 by clicking the link in my previous post ;-)

'Awakening' or 'Revelation'?

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Assalamu'alaikum, peeps!!

Well, I've been working on the new chapter for my 'UK Tales' series.  Not really sure about the title though. Here's a sneak preview of my coming chapter, Awakening.....Or Revelation depending on my deeper 'research'.

~*~

It's a Wednesday and my daily routine was the usual.  Get up, take a shower, watch the telly, go online, watch more T.V and go to sleep.  Of course, my Solat, meals and time of playing and taking care of Ariq were in between that routine.  Today, however, there was a little change in my schedule.

Hannah asked me if I wanted to go somewhere.  She called me a few days ago.  After our first meeting, she added me on Facebook and asked for my phone number.  I was flattered to be honest.  She wanted to show the sights and wondered if I wanna do some shopping.  "Well, I did see a bag I wanted.  I think I saw it when my parents and I went to Petticoat Lane," I told her.  "Oh, Petticoat Lane.  Yup, it's like the Petaling Street of London over there," she said.

"That's exactly what I thought," I said.  I was liking this girl more and more.

"Cool.  Kita pergi hari Rabu nanti nak?"

"Rabu?  Hannah, I tengah vacation.  You lain cerita.  Hehe.  Don't you have classes?"

"Actually, no.  My classes are cancelled.  So macam mana?  Nak I teman kan?

"Well, promise me that you let your parents know la.  Haha.  Don't want anything bad to happen now, do we love?" I said with a hint of British.

"Hehe.  Of course la I'll tell them.  Don't worry about that."

"Alright then.  You know, I tak selalu naik bus tau.  Asyik naik DLR dengan Tube je.  How about we take the bus?"

"Bus?  I don't actually know how la, Syauqi."

"It's ok.  I ingat the first time I went there with my parents.  Just take the 135 from ASDA.  Kita stop dekat Liverpool Street."

"Hehe.  Ingat pulak you kan?"

"Yup.  Just in case I nak pergi mana-mana.  Macam I keluar dengan you ni la."

"Ok.  See you on Wednesday, Syauqi."

"Insya-Allah, my lady," if I was talking to her face to face, I would've bowed.

~*~

Well, that's it for now.  You guys can read Chapter 1 of 'UK Tales' HERE.  I'm currently trying to finish it but Insya-Allah I'll post here AND in my notes on FB in a week since I finished my exams already.

See you guys on the flip side!!

P.S: Home sweet home!!  :-D

A Hell of A Ride

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Assalamu'alaikum, everybody!!

Alhamdulillah, I've finished the gruelling 4 weeks of studying.  3 of those weeks were exam weeks.  My course is the last course to finish the exams.  Mine and the guys in aero.  I gotta say, my results aren't looking that hot.  So I don't wanna talk about anything regarding my studies.

Yesterday was my birthday by the way.  I'm not sure people would know if it wasn't for Facebook.  This year's birthday was a bit dull just cos of ONE thing.  I have to study on my birthday.

Nobody in the right friggin' mind would wanna study on their friggin' birthday!!!!  But hey, what's happened has happened.  I got over 100 wishes in FB and 2 on Twitter.  I'm sure that's just a low number compared to other people.  I'm not that noticeable and popular.  And I plan to keep that way.  If I have to, I'd wanna be known for my talents and personality rather than looks.  Hehe.  Anywho, Amira, a close friend of mine, gave a present before she flew off to Egypt last month.  I think I'll show it chronologically.  Haha!!

Urgent??  What could it be??
A BIRTHDAY package??!! YAY ME!!  XD
Haaaa..To Kill A Mockingbird.  A classic :-D
Awww..The cat's so cute with its guitar :-3
There's a note :-O

"Ehem" art?
Wow..Just..Wow..Bless her heart :'-D
Honestly, I did have my own birthday wish list.  It'd be awesome if I get at least one of them but I'm just glad to be alive and have my family with me :-)

Here it goes:

1) The Heroes of Olympus: The Mark of Athena

Some of you might know that I'm a book worm.  I've waited a little over a year for this book to come out.  It'll be awesome to read it after busting my head for the exams.

2) All Time Low's Don't Panic

One of my favourite bands, All Time Low released a new album 10 days ago.  I have their songs already but to have their album is just more 'wow'.

3) Lindsey Stirling's album

There's something about her that just makes me wanna jump like a psycho fan.  Haha!!  Her songs are so addictive and she is just a sight for sore eyes.  Hehe :-3

I haven't got any of these actually but I don't mind.  What matters is what I have already.  I'm pretty damn thankful.

:-)

Well, I've started writing again for chapter 2 of my 'UK Tales'.  It's looking sluggish but I think it'll be a good one.  Since I'll be having a one-month holiday, I think I'll be able to finish it.

I'll be a bit busy on getting my driver's license too.  It's lame, I know.  Haha!!  Well, stay awesome, peeps!!

See you guys on the flip side!!

P.S: Kak Hannah bought me a regular set of double cheeseburger late last night!  Haha!!  Bless her heart :-D

You Don't Know What To Say Now Do You?

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Assalamu'alaikum, peeps!!

Well, what have I learned so far.  Let's seeeee..Hmmmm....

1) Never be overconfident

Yeah.  Let's just say that I'll be more careful during exams.

2) Watch your words

The human tongue can be sharper than a sword.  Back-biting, teasing, useless discussions.  You know, friendships can be broken by saying too much.  We complain that this one person is too quiet or too shy.  Sometimes that's better.  Being quiet is better than saying too much.

Well, that much honestly for now.  I gotta start studying today since Friday's my next paper.  Digital Electronics 2.  I'll give it hell!!  Haha!!  Stay awesome, people!!

See you guys on the flip side!!

P.S: I miss hanging out with my friends :-(

Between The Ink And Paper

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalamu'alaikum, y'all!!

Ok, I know I said I'll put my birthday wishlist on my next post here.  But I think I'll save it for the post A FEW days before my birthday.  Just a little heads up on what's happening right now.

Yesterday's Electronics 1 paper was a train-wreck.  Not to brag or anything but the questions were actually easy.  I mean...They were questions that I do in class.  I just blacked out.  So what did I do?  I started writing again.  If you have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about............

When I posted it here, I got some comments and I also put it on my 'notes' on FB.  Got lots of good comments and there were also friends who asked me to make a sequel and continue.  I think it's cos of the setting of the story.  As in WHERE the story was.  If you wanna know what I mean, do go to the link up there!!  Haha!!

Anywho, I have a 7-day gap till the next and final paper, Digital Electronics 2.  Been playing tennis a lot lately.  Just to past the time.  I don't know what I should do for the next few days.  I wanna go out and loosen up but the thing is, it'll mean that I won't have anything to do with my close friends at home.

The main thing is, I've started writing again and I think it'll be great but of course, that's my opinion cos it's MY writing.  I'll leave it up to you guys.  I'll be drowned in a lot of 'How I Met Your Mother's and 'Russell Howard's Good News's and music videos.  Yeah, I think I'll be busy.

Stay awesome, people!!

See you guys on the flip side!!

P.S: I can't wait to get back home >____<"

We Have A Movie To Catch

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Assalamu'alaikum, y'all!!

Yeah, it's been a while since the last post aye?  Been a bit busy with the exams.  I'm taking 6 papers.  Currently, 4 down, 2 to go.  I have Electronics 1 on the 11th and Digital Electronics 2 on the 19th.  The last paper was English last Sunday so I have a 3 full-day study gap.  Some may think I'm a nerd (though, I don't like to see myself that way).  Au contraire, I just had to unwind from all the studying.  Plus, there was a huge gap.  So I did some catch up on some movies that have been out for a while but I just got to see them lately....

Crazily funny movie this one.  In my opinion, it's better than the 1st three.  It's got that icky family stuff, funny bone-tickling comedy and just a good movie to watch.

I laughed watching this from start to finish.  You have four zoo animals joining a circus.  You're bound to get absolute mayhem.  Eventhough I think that animated movies are getting more and more real, it won't actually be called 'cartoons' anymore.  Either way, this movie's worth watching especially Marty's 'Circus-Afro' moment.  Haha!!

FINALLY!!!!  The Raid is an AMAZING/AWESOME movie to watch for you adrenaline junkies.  A S.W.A.T team of 30 raiding a building full of killers and cons and drug dealers.  It's action-packed and will blow you off your seats.  I'm glad I got to watch this after THIS happened.  One thing I learned from this movie: NEVER do drugs.  I'm already hopeless in a fight.  I'll be suckish and slow if I sniff glue or do cocaine.

Well, that's it for now, guys.  Stay awesome!!

See you guys on the flip side!!

P.S: I'm gonna post my b'day wishlist on my next post ;-)
