Collision of Celebrations

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Assalamu'alaikum, y'all!!

Since it's already near the end of June 16th, I think I'll put it in a past tense.

Today we celebrated a day dedicated to the men among men.  The ones who went out of their way to be there for their sons and daughters and grand kids.  One-half of the unsung heroes of a family (the other half being the female counter part).

I've said this in my FB post earlier that my only regret today is not being there with him.  Not only that, 2 of my brothers are in London and my eldest is busy with his own family (I'm saying that second part because I don't know if he came to the house or not).  Be that as it may, the sons of a one Jamalus Ramli have one thing in common today......

We all love him very2 strong!!

I can be a pain.  Ok..I am a pain.  Sometimes I just overreact you know?  But this wonderful man who my brothers, 2 sisters-in-law and I call "Ayah" has learnt to put up with us all.  I have no idea how he does it but he's doing an amazing job.

He's been there for me through all the highs and lows.  I won't even be half the guy I am today without him.  Nor will I try to reach any of my goals without his support.  I've been studying all my life so far but he will always be my first teacher.  I'm glad to say that I'm one of his four sons.  I'm proud to have "Bin Jamalus" in my name.  Because I can hold my head high and say, "That man is father."

We all love you so much, Ayah!!  No words are ever enough to show it.  May Allah bless you always, the same way we are blessed to have you in our lives.  AMIIIIIN..In Sya-Allah..

:'-)

There is another person who's quite near and dear to me who celebrated today.  We met 4 years ago and we're still going strong.  True, we've had our spats and disputes but that's what siblings do now innit?

She adapted herself to my quirks.  I actually treat her as a "sister-from-another-mother".  With that, she calls me "abang" a few times as I call her "adik" at times.

Happy Birthday, Sabreena!  You're awesome to be friends with and I find it a privilege to know you and have the weird relationship that we have.  Haha!!

May Allah bless you always and give you a long and happy life, little "pet sister" of mine.

XD

I sometimes can't believe I have these amazing people around me.  Especially my family and the ones outside my family who I consider my own flesh and blood.  Alhamdulillah...

Well, gotta hit the sack in a few.  Class till late afternoon tomorrow.

See you guys on the flip side!!

P.S: I'm crying!!!

Of Great Times With Far Better People

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Assalamu'alaikum, peeps!!

After almost a week of not updating, I finally had the meagre interest to write another post.  So let, me get you guys up to speed.  Aye?

Well, I went to Taiping last weekend to visit my Grandma.  You gotta love grannies, you know?  Alhamdulillah, she and the family are doing alright.  One thing's for sure though, if it weren't for the trip back, we wouldn't have watched this...........

Haha!  From our very own beloved artiste, the late Tan Sri P. Ramlee, "Do Re Mi".  To be honest, I've heard of it but I've never seen it.  That time was the first.  Haha!!

And it was in Taiping also that I got this text message.......

To be honest, I was quite stoked about it.  At the same time a bit worried too.  Just that feeling that plays in your head.  You know what I mean?  That you're-not-good-enough feeling.  But hey, I got the spot and I'll do everything I can In Sya-Allah...

:-)

This morning, Raef posted a picture that he's making a garden.....

I just had to post it here.  Haha!!

Today, I hung out with Sya2, Sab and Sab's...Uhmmmm..Friend?  We just decided to hang out at Subang Parade since they were around in Shah Alam anyway.  They had to come late so I went first.

I had a minor project for them.  Sab brought her stationery along in her bag.  Typical nerdy Sab.  That's why she's my kid sister.  Hehe.  And so it all began.....

Can you see the amount of concentration Sya2 has there?  Haha!!

Here are the results, thanks to Sya2 and my dear lil sister, Sab..........

I have my eyes on you, boy.  Count on it.

Note: Sab and the other two are also 19 this year

No idea XD

I look sooooo tanned O____O"
And so I got a bit creative.  Well, really little effort.  Cos I'm that lazy at the moment >____<"

Today, 6th June, we celebrate a writer, an Emily Strange fan and a girl who's been layan-ing me lately.  Haha!!

Happy Birthday, Liselle!!  May Allah bless you always and give you a long and happy life.  AMIIIIIN.  In Sya-Allah XD

Well, I'm a little tired here.  Gonna get some sleep.

See you guys on the flip side!!

P.S: 3 days and counting :-(

Team 2 Ka-Zoo

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Assalamu'alaikum, everybody!!

Let me apologize first for my absence.  Last week was a bit hard to blog because I had the tennis try outs last week, which I think I did pretty well if I do say so myself.  Got back to KL last Sunday night.  From then till now, I was just a bit too tired and of course, lazy.

I didn't take many pictures that are really worth putting here.  Well...Except for this one though...........

Haha!!  Remember those little toys in the good old days?  Tora.  Ding Dang..Aji was pretty excited about getting the toy inside it.  I think "excited" is an understatement here.  Haha!!

Fast forwarding to after the try outs.  Got home and last Tuesday my only unmarried brother went to London.  He's staying with Angah's family for a month.  He finished his degree so it'll be a matter of time till he starts working.  Might as well go sight-seeing eh?  Rezeki dia.  Bagi je laaa.  Hehe...

He has lotsa friends there in Europe.  I bet he's having a blast there right now.

And guess what.  It's been quite a while since I met this old friend of mine.  Last time I did was in 2010. Here she is, studying in Shah Alam, where I live and it's only now that I hung out with her.  Haha!! I had a great afternoon with Hanan, her housemate and cousin.

The day after that, I decided to wash my tennis shoes.  It was quite beat up and dirty so I cleaned it up a bit.....

Let there be light!!!!
Honestly by yesterday, I was actually a bit down in the dumps.  Had quite a spat with an old friend.  I was pretty pissed off but hey, I brought it to myself....Maybe..

So today I just had to turn to Petey.  It's hard to find a really awesome and trustworthy friend nowadays.  I'm just being careful here.  He and I went to the Selangor Book Festival.  Even on our way there we cracked jokes that just came up in our heads unexpectedly.  Those moments just happen and you forget the world and your problems.  You know what I mean?  Sure, it comes back to you later but at least it helps you for a while.

As we were looking for good books, I actually found my name in a book.......

My nickname to be precise
To some of you who are even more observant, the title of the book is at the top of the page there.  And it's called................

SPERMA CINTA (Sperms of Love)

I know.  In a twisted way, I was in an erotic storyline.  Freaked me out too.  Don't worry.  That ain't me.  Tee hee!!

XD

It's been quite a few weeks.  Gonna go back to Taiping and see my grandma tomorrow.  Will be coming back on Sunday.

See you guys on the flip side!!

P.S: Oh dear God.  Can someone please follow me next Tuesday.  If I go, I'm not sure if I'll survive T___T"
