She was found dead at her home in Camden, north London. C.O.D is suspected to be overdose but no official autopsy report is out yet. T.O.D was at around 1500-1600 G.M.T...
It was told that her father, Mitch was on his way to London. A lot of people was quite stunned at the multiple Grammy award winner's death.
The wife of former prime minister Gordon Brown, Sarah Brown, tweeted, saying : "sad sad news of Amy Winehouse - great talent, extraordinary voice, and tragic death, condolences to her family."
Kelly Osbourne, singer and television personality, also tweeted by saying “i cant even breath right now im crying so hard i just lost 1 of my best friends. i love you forever Amy & will never forget the real you!”
She won 5 Grammy's for her "Back To Black" album (which had the song 'Rehab') in 2006. 5 Grammy's are like the Oscars in pop music.
She is listed in the "27 Club", a club where the members are artists who died at age 27..Just to name a few they are :
- Jimi Hendrix - Choked on pill and wine
- Jim Morrison - Heart attack
- Kurt Cobain - Shot himself
