In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Assalamu'alaikum, everyone!!
In 24 hours the fans of one of the 2 most famous football clubs will either weep or whoop....
Probably considered the match of the season. THE match. The 2nd leg will be going down at Old Trafford. The 1st leg at the Bernabeu in Madrid ended in a 1-1 draw with Welback scoring a header. Real Madrid equalized and it was not really surprising that Cristiano Ronaldo, United's former golden boy, scored.
United now has the upper hand now that they have the away goal. The only thing to do now is to tighten the defende and stop this man....
Ronaldo said that it would be great to score at Old Trafford again. He didn't celebrate after scoring that header in the 1st leg out of respect he has for the club. That's good. He didn't forget his place. It's buzzing that it will be a battle between these two.....
Cristiano Ronaldo vs Robin van Persie.... CR7 vs RVP... I won't deny that it'll be one mouth watering affair. Kaka, Real Madrid's Brazilian midfielder said that Wayne Rooney and RVP are the men to watch. I can't say I disagree with him. These two are making quite a riot in the BPL especially now that Rooney's got his scoring touch again with that cracker of a goal against Norwich last week.
A late bloomer finally came out. United's Japanese no. 26, Shinji Kagawa got his scoring groove on as he got a hat-trick (which is 3 goals in a match for you football virgins). He's the first ever Asian player to get a hat-trick in the BPL. So I'd say he's also another man to watch considering how good he's playing right now.
Can't wait. I just hope that the guys in my hostel wake up though. Other wise it's live-streaming and I gotta get out of the room.
In about 24 hours, it will either be "Glory Glory Man United" or "Hala Madrid". You guys should know what I choose. Glory Glory Man United! Hehe.. Come on you Reds!!
See you guys on the flip side!!
P.S: Sometimes reconciliation is the only way to clean your conscience :-)
