Reminder

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalamu'alaikum, peeps!!

Just a quick update.  My condolences / takziah to my former classmate and forever-a-friend, Shahran, who lost his father yesterday evening.  Shahran was quite a good friend of mine when I was in MRSM KK.  I think I can say I know how he feels cos I lost my grandmother a few years ago.  I was quite close to her.  So when she 'went', it hit me quite hard.

Allah S.W.T can take away any of His Blessings from us at any time.  The roof on our heads, the food we eat...The life that we don't use to fully devote ourselves to Him.  Of course, all of us, including me, tend to drift and forget.  The only thing to do is just be grateful.  There are lots of ways to show how grateful we are to the Lord.  To me, the easiest way is doing Solat........

"Pray behind the Imam (In congregation), before you are prayed in front of him."

I got Network and System class at 11.  I wanna read some of the topics that are coming out in the final.  Gotta jet.  Stay awesome, people!!

See you guys on the flip side!!

P.S: Again, takziah to Shahran.  May his father be placed among those of the Solihun.  AMIIIIN..Insya-Allah..AL-FATIHAH.

Of Coughing And Randomness

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Assalamu'alaikum, everybody!

*Coughcough*

Sorry about that.  I'm just a bit....

*Coughcough...COUGHCOUGH*

...under the weather lately.  Been coughing my head off since last Thursday.  Not loving it but they say, being sick is another way to get Forgiveness from the Lord Almighty (or something like that).  The result:

1) I'm not going to the class trip to Ulu Yam today.

There actually grouping downstairs as I'm typing this.  Maybe it's a blessing too you know?  I can study later when I'm finish with this post.  It's just a bit bizarre that these guys are going for a picnic when our final exam's next week.  But I actually wanted to go in the first place too.  I just though about it.  I'm not that smart compared to the others.  So I might as well be left behind.

2) More aches

When I say that, I mean my body is actually taking a beating.  Damn, I feel like an old man.  I'm only 19!!  (Well, in less than a month I will).  To 'reduce' my sickness, I actually play sports.  To sweat the fever out.  So I played tennis with some friends yesterday.  It backfired.  I felt worse.  I don't know what happened.  I ALWAYS do that when I'm sick.  I guess there's a Hikmah in everything.  I don't usually FIND medicine when I'm sick.  I just drink lots of water.  I feel like this kid sometimes..........

It's not that I don't want to eat medicine.  In this particular part, I'm just too lazy.

One thing though, I just hope this fever and not to mention the 'Exam fever' will make me lose my head....Like this guy........

On a lighter note, Man United beat Liverpool 1-2 at Anfield last night.  In my opinion though, the penalty was a bit soft if y'all know what I mean.  Well, I gotta study.  Exam's just around the table.  Stay awesome, people!!

See you guys on the flip side!!

P.S: Last Monday was Q, this Monday (today), a good friend of mine, Amira, will be flying off to Egypt.  G'luck, buddy!  And have a safe journey :-)

The One With The Violin

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalamu'alaikum, y'all!!

I think if you guys remember this post, you might know that I'm seriously obsessed with her.  Music is just one of those things that gets me going you know?  And now that the awesome and not to mention beautiful Lindsey Stirling just released her album, I just can't stop listening to her music.

She's this awesome violinist who plays the violin in an amazing way and she dances too.  She just released a new song, Elements, which is also a track in her album.

You guys can check out both her YouTube channels.  Here to check out here music videos and her new one which she decides to upload random stuff like Behind the scenes and violin tutorials and stuff like that.

I've listened to almost all of her songs.  It's addictive.  And I don't actually know anything about violins.  If anybody buys me her album for my birthday, seriously I will love that person FOREVER!!  Haha!! XD

I got class at 8.  It's 6.45 and I 'stoink'.  Gotta jet.  Stay awesome, people!!

See you guys on the flip side!!

P.S: 'Stoink' is just another level of stink.  It's stinker than the stinkest  ;-D

May The Force of Allah Be With You

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalamu'alaikum, everyone!!

Right now as we speak, my friend Q is on her way to Wales to further her studies.  Degree in animal studies.  Do I envy a friend who gets the chance to study overseas??  Can't say that I don't.  Am I proud that I have a friend who studies overseas??  Hell yeah!!

Q, my friend of 8 years, boarded her flight at approx. 11 ++ last night.  I went back last week to the doa selamat she had at her house last Saturday.  It was a modest event.  It was great seeing her again for a few times after all these years.  Her parents are pretty nice too.  Especially her dad.  He's awesome in a 'dad' kind of way (Don't worry, Ayah!!  You're still the awesome-est!! XD)

I still feel bad about not coming to KLIA last night to send her off though.  She actually had a few friends in mind that she wants to be there.  But what to do?  As we grow older, our schedule is getting busier and busier.  So I called her yesterday morning to tell her I couldn't come.  She said that it was ok and she understands.  Such an awesome friend, isn't she?

:'-D

We talked, laughed about all the crazy jokes since we re-connected.  Honestly, I choked up a bit.  And that usually doesn't happen when it comes to my friends.  I told her "Eee..Rasa macam nak nangis laaa."  She said, "Jangan la tahan.  Nangis je la."  Me, being the lame person that I am, just replied, "I memang nak nangis tapi x boleh.  Tak ada tissue.  Nanti nak lap pakai apa?"

T____T"

I'm lame.  I know.  We still laughed our heads off.  Hahaha!!  Regardless, she's off to the UK to further her studies.

Here's to you, Q.  May Allah S.W.T bless you always and guide you in your journey to find knowledge and to be a better person.  AMIIIIN..Insya-Allah.

(No pictures on this blog post are posted to respect her privacy)

Well, gotta get ready in a few.  I got class at 10.  Stay awesome, people!!

See you guys on the flip side!!

P.S: I got this package when I came back last week.  What do you guys think it is?  Hehe ;-)

Soldier Down

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalamu'alaikum, y'all!!

*BIG sigh*

Blogging's been tough lately.  It's not that I don't want to.  Just don't have the time.  My final exam's getting nearer and nearer.  It's just around the table (around the corner still seems so far away).

My dear little sis texted me yesterday.  Insya-Allah I'll be seeing her this weekend.  She asked me how I was doing.

Honestly, I'm not doing very good.  In truth, I'm not surprised that not many of those around me knows.  All I do everyday is smile and laugh around my friends and everybody.  Deep inside, nobody actually knows the turbulence I' going through.  True, there are other people whose lives are not even as close to good as mine.  I assure you guys, I'm so grateful that I have a roof under my head, a place to learn, a loving family and also very...VERY awesome friends.  I can only do what Allah S.W.T asks me to do to show how thankful I am.  I smile and laugh like nothing's wrong cos I just don't wanna be a burden to anybody.  Namely, my family.

Being the last child ain't a walk in the park, people.  Ok!!??  I seriously hate those who say, "Ye la.  Dia kan anak bongsu.  Mesti la dapat apa benda yg dia nak."  To those who think that way, you wanna know what I think?  Hell, I think I'll just say it whether you wanna know or not.

THAT STATEMENT IS JUST ABSOLUTE BOLLOCKS!!  AND Y'ALL CAN JUST JUMP OFF A CLIFF FOR ALL THAT I CARE!!

I'll just let you all delve on this by yourselves.  Pandai-pandai la fikir sendiri.  To those who are friends with me and think the same, re-think on your thoughts about the statement.

Anywho, I'm just a bit down cos most of my friends are going away.  Close friends to be exact.  And I don't mean moving from next door to another state.  I mean to another continent and/or country.  Get the point?

My studies are like...going down the drain.  I'm not failing in any of them.  Alhamdulillah for that.  I'm just so afraid that I won't get good grades this semester.  And that I will let my parents down.  Of course, they'll say that it's ok and that they know I've tried my best.  True, I work my butt off in everything.  Studies, sports, writing stories, music.  But sometimes my best isn't good enough.  Gotta work harder AND smarter.

Bottom line, I'm grateful for everything that He's given me.  I'm still working on a few other things so that He'll see me fit to get what I want.  I can just pray and hope that He Sees me as one of His loyal servants.  AMIIIN..Insya-Allah..

Well, I gotta jet.  Stay awesome, people!!

See you guys on the flip side!!

P.S : Sorry for the s****y post.  I've been a bit 'off' lately.

The Hair Up There

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalamu'alaikum, everyone!!

I've been having this crazy obsession.  King's Carriage, that's besides the point.  But it DOES have something to do with one of the 'stars' of King's Carriage.  I just want to have what this guy has....

Travis Clark, frontman of We The Kings

Look at his hair!!  It's....AWESOOOOOME!!  Haha!!  I want his hair!!  That sounded a bit creepy dunnit?

O_o"

I'll rephrase: I want my hair to be like that!!  I don't mean the colour just the style.

Lots of my friends told me that my hair is so long.  They ask me whether or not I get in trouble cos of it.  Apparently I'm still bounded by the hair-rule even AFTER my school days.  And if some of you are also wondering, I don't get in trouble.  Wanna know why?

I get into the campus through the back entrance!!

Yup!!  That's the secret.  Honestly, I just like my hair long.  I DO have friends who told me that I'm better off with short hair.  My hair is almost as long as the time when I went to the UK...
I won't post any picture of my current hairstyle.  I'm not that good looking.  I think I'll take my haircut before the opening of Sem 4.  Hehe..

;-)

Look at his hair!!  XD

Gotta jet, people!!  Stay awesome!!

See you guys on the flip side!!

P.S: Performing with that kind of hair is just awesome  :-D

Step In To The Kings' Carriage!

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalamu'alaikum, y'all!!

I'm not sure if you guys remember.  I have a crazy obsession for We The Kings......

This band from Bradenton, Florida has been giving awesome tunes to my ears ever since I was in the 5th grade.  Another awesome thing about this band is that they have mini webisodes called "KINGS CARRIAGE" that you can watch on YouTube.  The band has their own episodes but their drummer, Danny Duncan, has his channel where he puts the webisodes that he creates and makes up himself.  Most of it features the other bandmates and other related people to the band.

Sure, their rocking out like it's no big deal but if they need a second job, I think acting could be it.  Haha!!

You gotta check it out, guys.  By the way, I think this episode is my favourite one yet.  Have a look aites?  Haha!!

Gotta jet, people!!  Professional Ethics in 20 minutes.  Stay awesome!

See you guys on the flip side!!

P.S: Ariq and his parents have gone back already.  Damn, I miss them :'-(
