I've been seeing,hearing and reading a lot of stuff ever since the 2013 Malaysian General Election fever kicked in.  Some of the stories,theories and excuses are just too crazy.  Anywho, I got lots of pictures in my laptop that made me laugh and smile..........

U-Turn

What I thought would be the worst weekend of 2013 so far turned out quite well so far.  Sometimes you just gotta look at the bright side, you know?

Had a wonderful breakfast with my parents today.  After that, we watched this................

Haha!  It was great seeing this with my parents.  Not many people get stand-up comedy but it's one of the few things I enjoy with the folks.  We just watched part 1 though.  "Fluffy" will be showing the part 2 of this special next week.  Can't wait....

I just had good company I guess today.  Skyped with Madamoiselle for 3 hours.  She really does know how to cool me off.  We click.  Our brains are somehow hard-wired in a pretty A-B normal kind of way but I'm just abnormal.  She's the one who's A-B normal.  We talked till it was late afternoon.  Almost 7 p.m and even after the maghrib prayers she still cheered me up by showing these......

I can relate to this.  Although, I'm just short.  Not overweight.  Haha!

Why did it took so long for me to see this??!!!  I feel like making a shirt based on this.

As we were talking she still sensed that I was still a bit flustered.  I was.  So she sent me these too.......

I've been doing the latter for quite a while but it's nice to know that there's a friend who actually cares and reminds you about it innit?  Thank you so much, my lady.  Merci beaucoup.

I've been having issues with a case that's a wee bit similar to this though..................

I got a twisted sense of humour, mind you.  So in that sense, I find this quite funny but a bit...How do you say...Mind boggling?

I use to be a guy who's quite a hothead.  I still am I guess but not so much.  I try to rehabilitate myself to not get into fights both physically and verbally.  There are some times when I just agree with people despite me thinking it's not really right.  Sometimes I do get at it just to stand my ground.  But when you know you're arguing with someone especially with those who you call your friends, you can't risk having a full blown "Chernobyl".  So I just stop arguing.  It doesn't mean that I'm walking away.  Some people think I quit and run away from problems.  I don't.  I do however don't like quarrelling with friends.  So I just stop and silence myself.

To any of you out there, say what you want.  Go ahead and say I like to run away from things.  It's a sin to tell lies and especially backbite.  So be my guess.  Aye?

On a much lighter note.  In Sya-Allah I will be doing another live tweet for Manchester United's game against Stoke City tomorrow, 9 p.m (Malaysian time), live at the Britannia Stadium (I'll be tweeting from my house). The last time they met at Old Trafford, Robin van Persie (RVP) scored an amazing goal and now he's not been scoring for 9 games.  Give or take.  Let's see if he can break that tomorrow.  You guys can follow me on Twitter................

Step In To The Kings' Carriage!

I'm not sure if you guys remember.  I have a crazy obsession for We The Kings......

This band from Bradenton, Florida has been giving awesome tunes to my ears ever since I was in the 5th grade.  Another awesome thing about this band is that they have mini webisodes called "KINGS CARRIAGE" that you can watch on YouTube.  The band has their own episodes but their drummer, Danny Duncan, has his channel where he puts the webisodes that he creates and makes up himself.  Most of it features the other bandmates and other related people to the band.

Sure, their rocking out like it's no big deal but if they need a second job, I think acting could be it.  Haha!!

You gotta check it out, guys.  By the way, I think this episode is my favourite one yet.  Have a look aites?  Haha!!

He's Very Funny, Innit??

You know, I just love stand-up comedy.  Of course, we have our own comedians.  Zizan, Johan, Harith Iskandar and all.  No offense.  I just have my own reasons for liking international acts more.

I have some favourites of course.

The ever so fluffy, Gabriel Iglesias.  Latino comedian, crazy sound effects.  He's awesome...

And also...

Russell Peters.  Canadian-born.  LOL-jokes (literally).  Though, he does use a lot about race for his acts.  So that might not other people's cup of tea.  Either way, I'm sure he made a killing during his show in Shah Alam in May.

My latest favourite however, is this guy.....

Russell Howard.  Hahaha!!  I 'discovered' him during my 2 months in the UK thanks to Angah.  He has his own show in the UK called 'Russell Howard's Good News'.  He finds news from all over the UK and even in other parts of the world and tries to make people laugh from it.

Trust me.  It works.  Haha!!  XD

Even after coming back from the UK, I still watch his show.  Via YouTube, of course.  Hehe.

Do you guys remember my post called "Laughter Is The Best Medicine" ?  Yeah..Haha!!  Russell Peters and Gabriel Iglesias are down right the best comedians of the decade.  HANDS DOWN...  No offense to the local comedians of course.  

I just LOOOOVE making people laugh.  Haha!!  Especially my parents.  My "materials" for making people laugh is stand-up comedy.  It's the spontaneous words and one-liners that makes everybody crack up.  Haha!!  Lately I saw Gabriel's special called "I'm Not Fat I'm Fluffy" That guy's damn funny...And he's not fat..he's just fluffy.  Hahaha!!

Trust me, he can make you laugh.  If you ain't laughing I guess something's wrong with your funny bone...

Well, short post for today.  I got EFAS later..

Laughter Is The Best Medicine

Assalamualaikum everyone!!

I've been quite bored sometimes, just being alone in my room.  Remembering all my loved ones just makes it even worse.  But it's ok though.  I have a way to get out of that state...............

Oh yeeeaaah.  Hahaha!! That's right..  I know we have our own comedians in Malaysia.  Nabil..Sepah..Jozan and many more.  But this guy is hilarious.  He's Canadian btw..  His parents are Indian.  They migrated to Canada and Russell was born in Canada.  I've been watching his stand-ups for quite some time now.  And he just gets better and better.  But his act sometimes have that racial twists in it.  So his act is not actually for the easily offended..But hey, if you don't even TRY to listen to his shows here, SOMEBODY GONNA GET HURT REAL BAD.....SOMEBODY.

Ok..If you dont like him, you gotta love this guy...............

Gabriel Iglesias.  Hahahaha!! He's another comedian from the states..Bakersfield, LA to be exact.  And btw, he's not fat he's just fluffy :-D (You gotta see his shows to get the joke) When he does his shows, he always has new materials.  So yeah...he's good at his job.  Don't believe me? Check this out.

Yeah..When I'm down and I want more reasons to laugh than usual, their shows can do just that.  I wonder who could win in a comedy stand-off..Hmmmm..

Anyway, there will be a cleaning session for my hostel block.  Can't say that I'm looking forward to it though
